The process of assessment is central to helping children to progress and fulfil their potential. It is also necessary to provide a framework to ensure that learning objectives can be set and used to inform lesson planning, resources and support. We use a range of different assessment packages in order to identify and track the progress our students make. We see this as their learning journey. We celebrate all incremental milestones our children make to ignite the passion for continued learning and sense of achievement. Tracking of young people’s learning journey is termly. We set targets appropriate to the young person’s EHCP and their baseline assessments.
